Park Approved Wedding Venues
Special-use permits are required for ALL weddings and elopements regardless of size. The cost of wedding application is $120. and is non-refundable. Additional cost can vary depending on the size of your wedding and location. PLEASE NOTE, If you are hiring a professional photographer or cater they are also required to obtain a separate Special Use wedding permit. This permit is also required for Engagement photos and Wedding Photos.

No permits will be issued on Federal Holidays and NPS free entrance days. No permits will be issued from December 20th to January 1st.
No permits will be issued for the following dates:

April 17 September 6 December 24, 25, 26, 31

The Joshua Tree National Park ALLOWS a small table for guestbook, cooler with water, and a wedding arch with fresh flowers must be free-standing, live floral bouquets, battery-powered candles, runner, rug, cake and champagne.
The Park DOES NOT ALLOW dried flowers, the throwing of birdseed, rice, rose petals or confetti, NO smoke bombs, fireworks, open flamed candles, rice, chalk, colored-water tablets, hanging or attaching anything to a tree or bush, or in the ground, and gathering of branches, plants, or flowers, drones to take photos, does NOT permit balloons, the releasing of any live animal, butterflies, doves etc., or anything that would endanger The National Park.
